CACNART - Canada & China Art Communications is a website initiated by curator Yan Zhou to introduce art communication/exchange projects between Canada and China, and to promote art communications and cooperations between the art worlds of two countries. The first project presented is Transformation of Canadian Landscape Art: Inside & Outside of Beijing, a Canadian contemporary art exhibition including fifteen important Canadian artists and one dance performance group which toured in Xi’an Art Museum, Xi’an, China and Today Art Museum, Beijing China in 2015. The second large project is Mediated Memory-a featured Canadian contemporary art exhibition in the 6th Beijing International Art Biennale (2015) at National Art Museum, Beijing, China.

 

 

The website will be a space for presenting, communicating and sharing information/ideas/opportunities about art projects that focus on introducing Canadian & Chinese art to each sides.​
